Ann-Marie Lovejoy

Ann Marie Lovejoy started Lovejoy Centre in August 2011 and saw a need for qualitative activity sessions within the care sector.

After working as a registered home manager in various settings for six years, she left her role and set up a service to provide reminiscence, music and art sessions for residents in private residential home settings. The main approach is person centred to take into account the whole person and providing specialist sessions for individuals at varying stages of Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Offering special themed boxes of interest for reminiscence sessions and a stimulative schedule for Art and Music sessions. Currently covering West and East Sussex and South London.

Our Aims and Objectives

Our philosophy is to provide a service of the highest standard which meets the individual needs of each client we engage with. Their wishes and individuality are respected and given the utmost consideration when our activity  sessions are designed. This helps us to work alongside care home management to promote individuality with dignity.

We respect the views of our clients on all levels whether the care home management team or residents and welcome feedback to enable us to develop and continuously provide the best possible service at all times.

We employ staff with the necessary skills and attributes to deliver excellent qualitative sessions which are rewarding and enjoyable for all.


Lovejoy Centre helps provide older people who are in a care setting  with the basics if they do not have them. We provide hat, scarves,gloves and winter coats and also will assist Activity Coordinator’s with a small grant to help them provide activities for elderly residents  to ensure they can do their job properly by providing stimulating and meaningful activities.
